The hit to VW must be very very big indeed; we were offered 125 complete ID battery packs from a big Dutch dealerships company that were swapped out because of bad cells. We’re seriously considering it because the price per kWh is very sharp and we know how to test the modules and reject the duff ones.
The ID modules are very nice to convert with because of their size and they are available in both 8s3p and 12s2p. Which means we can use them in many different setups. 54kWh, 400V (with fast charging), 180kW (240bhp), 360Nm midsize classic anyone?
