I mean, you could pay me to tell you 🤪
You will struggle to find reliable trades in the quantity you need and even if you did, you will likely struggle to manage the relationship between client and trades as they will not be the same as you. Then you're on the hook for the clients perceptions etc.
You will also be adding to the cost of the process which no one wants so you'll have to protect your contacts in a way that doesn't suit the trade or the client.
I've got loads of reasons but the other thing to consider is a lot of people already do this kind of thing in an informal way. I've never had a business card or advertised, all my work comes through references.

In recent years there has been a power shift from the buyer to the trades. Decent trades have almost unlimited work, the demand far outstrips supply and most of them can rely on word of mouth exclusively to keep busy like you say. The firms that can’t rely on WOM are probably not the ones anyone wants to work with.
If you want to find the builders and tradespeople who are really busy and who don’t need to advertise. How can you find them? I don’t think it needs to be quantity - the big aggregators need that bc it’s a transactional service and high churn. This way you would have a smaller audience who would be willing to pay for the service.
If people are paying £500 pm on bespoke fitness then why couldn’t you have something similar
@Airhead @konastab01 from both sides? Any starters as to why? I think from the consumer side it would work, so interested to know why you think it wouldn't (this is my obvious blindspot!)
