Slightly off-topic, but does anyone have a recommendation for a laser cutter.
I'm looking for something that can cut 3mm MDF up to about A3 size for prototyping and production jigs. Needs to be fairly quick and easy to get up and running with minimum faff and reliable ongoing usage

We have an Epilog Zing at work which I've used a bit. The software is easy enough and it handles 4mm ply in a single pass. I've found the zero positioning a bit fiddly, and there don't seem to be any limit switches to stop the motors running the gantry into the end of the rails. They have updated all their systems now though, so maybe they fixed a few of the niggles. I expect it is quite an expensive system though.

From there, I'm now looking at the Flux Beamo and FSL Muse Core.
In our lab at the mo, we've got a Raise 3D for FDM - this is working well for us and adding value so I'm looking for something at a similar level

Bringing it back to 3D printers, I have a couple of Zmorphs in my personal workshop so the wildcard option might be to convert the single-filament version to a laser cutter or CNC mill

I need one of these if anyone can help?

That looks great. I've just got a load of these probes tangling everything up in my kitchen cupboard.

How many meat probes does a person need?

Every. Single. One.

My fingers are also full of tiny little metal splinters from untangling the little fuckers.

I can print you that meat probe if you are happy to wait a short while.

This is something I can use as well. I'll print a couple test ones now and if they work I'll bang the rest out tomorrow.
