Hi
Yes please, same address. -

Would anyone be up for printing this corner brace for a wobbly Ikea TV cabinet? It mentions it's important that the X/Y of the printer is square, not sure if that's an added complication...

Slightly off-topic, but does anyone have a recommendation for a laser cutter.
I'm looking for something that can cut 3mm MDF up to about A3 size for prototyping and production jigs. Needs to be fairly quick and easy to get up and running with minimum faff and reliable ongoing usage -

We have an Epilog Zing at work which I've used a bit. The software is easy enough and it handles 4mm ply in a single pass. I've found the zero positioning a bit fiddly, and there don't seem to be any limit switches to stop the motors running the gantry into the end of the rails. They have updated all their systems now though, so maybe they fixed a few of the niggles. I expect it is quite an expensive system though.

Thanks, that's a good place to start - looks like that's the fusion edge 12 now, looks like they're landing in the £10-20k range which is more than I can just whack on the company card!
From there, I'm now looking at the Flux Beamo and FSL Muse Core.
In our lab at the mo, we've got a Raise 3D for FDM - this is working well for us and adding value so I'm looking for something at a similar level -

Bringing it back to 3D printers, I have a couple of Zmorphs in my personal workshop so the wildcard option might be to convert the single-filament version to a laser cutter or CNC mill

Anyone used https://lancashire3d.uk/product/3d-printing-service/ before?
Or can recommend something similar?
Need some parts to convert my Scicon to thruaxle before next weekend and seems like the quickest way if the next day service is as stated.

I'm thinking of trying this raspberry pi iSight webcam hack: https://www.printables.com/model/418381-webcam-project-using-an-original-apple-isight-cam/files
Wondering if this would be an expensive print as the body looks pretty dense?

Moar 3d print begging! Please could someone print some of these (in return for money / beer / favours):
I need two end caps, and 6 middle bits.

That looks great. I've just got a load of these probes tangling everything up in my kitchen cupboard.
-
• #593
How many meat probes does a person need?
-
• #594
All of them.
Every. Single. One.
-
• #595
My fingers are also full of tiny little metal splinters from untangling the little fuckers.
-
• #596
I can print you that meat probe if you are happy to wait a short while.
-
• #597
This is something I can use as well. I'll print a couple test ones now and if they work I'll bang the rest out tomorrow.
