Ordering some LBs WR50. Do I want hookless now? I’ll be running 28–32s tubeless. 80kg. Is now the time to do what big bike wants me to do?

Negatives of hookless, considering future-proofing?

I can't think of a single real significant reason why anyone would want to go hookless. It's a bag of compatibility hurt.

It makes sense on mountain bikes where the pressure limits aren't an issue and the hookless rims are tougher so the rim is less likely to be damaged if you thump it hard against something. For gravel and road bikes, yep, can't see the point.
