did that this morning, will let things settle and do the next sometime tomorrow.

Should be working fine now, but if not it's going to be DNS caches catching up.
-
• #54
Which reminds me I need to get back to helping with the great transformation project...
-
• #55
Though... you may have a point. If you were signed out, Cloudflare might still be caching... I'll purge all of those caches too.
-
• #56
If that were done, this would've been easier!
-
• #57
Caches cleared, signed out and back in.

Can you access this: https://lfgss.microcosm.app/api/v1/files/0266d45a0ac7c081b59c9a0213a13a9f0cada494.svg
What you're showing me is the dynamic HTML, and it should have the new domain in it.
But... perhaps microcosm.app isn't yet in your DNS system, in which case it will be a waiting game.

- Reconfigure Cloudflare page rules for the API paths to cache all the files, but bypass cache for the API

I think I am done... I think this is everything.
There may be some minor things broken, please report it to me.

I don’t know what those words mean but thank you for making it all
work again.This again.

Yeah, I realise already that I've never seen any business handle something like a suspended primary domain so rapidly. The ad-hoc "I've got this" business continuity plan is pretty incredible.
Yeah, very much this. Plenty of larger businesses spend a lot more time and money planning a site migration and still end up with significantly more downtime than you've ended up with after having the rug pulled.
Impressive reaction, very well done. -

OpenDNS is apparently now crap.
You should move to https://nextdns.io/
I will attempt to raise a support ticket, but it's unlikely to go anywhere.
This likely looks suspicious because the domain has existed for a while and has had zero traffic, and then I suddenly just lit it up — this probably resembles the traffic pattern of a phisher or spammer.

I did all of this and Cloudflare have an issue:
- Open Support ticket with Cloudflare as
microco.sm
had cross-user CNAME grandfathered in, andmicrocosm.app
does not, which means that other forums with their domains on Cloudflare cannot CNAME their custom domain.

Ugh... I realise that if Cloudflare cannot add in the cross-user CNAME grandfathering, that I'll have to move
microcosm.app
off of Cloudflare totally, recreate the DNS elsewhere.Thankfully: I barely use the Cloudflare features, and already have the TLS cert.

Hi Velocio, our french forum pignolefixe.com, which is using microcosm as well is completely down, what can we do to fix it ?
-
• #69
@gouache it's here https://pignolefixe.microcosm.app/
not totally functional, mails not working for the sign in. I mean : mail sent, but sign in not functional.
ps : le nom de domaine a changé, du coup il va y avoir de la latence pour la remise en route à cause de la propagation des DNS, surtout que ça à pas l'air simple.

I can barely get my Ops guys to acknowledge my existence within three hours, let alone turn around an entire existential threat to our service. Hats off.
-
• #71
That's because your ops guy doesn't want this kind of sleepless night.
Well done everybody!
-
• #72
I don't know entirely what this means, but I am on a work network so there's nothing I can do concerning the setup.

mail sent, but sign in not functional
Interesting... let me get on that.

- Update 37 applications in Auth0 to ensure that the CORS all correctly point to
microcosm.app
Try now.

I still can't see images or avatars despite clearing cache. Anything I'm missing?
