I think the lack of depth in the squad finally caught up with them.

Poor gunners. I know someone on here called while they were miles ahead.

The Liverpool and West Ham games are the ones you feel they’ll look back on with some serious regret. Doesn’t help when Abu Dhabi’s merciless sportswashing football juggernaut just hoovers up everyone in their path for the past two months or so. Last time the dropped points in the league was February.*
*I could be wrong here, didn’t check very thoroughly.

You’re right. A draw away at Forest in February and a loss in January against Utd. Neither Bayern or PSG are that dominant in their leagues.

Best manager in England? Probably.
Give it five years and when we're in the Champions' League you'll see.
Or more likely, give it till October and he'll be managing Watford or Southampton, or Brighton when De Zerbi goes to Chelsea (I really hope not).

I think Ronay does another great job today. It’s not choking/bottling.

• #165483
You’re right. I don’t know of another league with such a dominant team. The Liverpool of old wasn’t this dominant and the PL United, Arsenal and Chelsea teams weren’t either.
And nowadays, as @jaw points out, not even PSG or Bayern enjoy such dominance.
Then again, if the charges are held up as just then it might help shed some light on the whole sorry affair.

Keep hoping sunshine.
Imagine a size 10 Adidas Predator stamping on a Liverpool players face.

i'm surprised the citeh players can concentrate on their football, what with 100+ financial fair play violations hanging over their heads. brave little soldiers

i'm sure the more cynical amongst us would say citeh have bought yet another title .... but not me

It's almost like there's some sort of correlation between having lots of money and being successful.

Fulham have more money than Chelsea?

Ha!

Forever.I’m actually okay with that.

Fulham, Brentford and Brighton? Also plucky little Man Utd hanging on to 4th on their shoestring budget.
-
• #165492
I’m not sure anyone has a real problem with modern day football clubs having huge budgets - it’s inevitable. Everything nowadays is grossly* monetised.
It just sticks in the throat when certain clubs use that financial clout to employ very expensive officials in a means to unfairly claw even more of an advantage.
You have to say it’s not a good look!
*size wise, don’t worry I’m not making a judgement.

Brighton have spunked hundreds of millions to get where they are now. Admittedly so have Everton ...

At least they'll take the "Nearest ground to the River Mersey" title from Stockport FC when they move into Bramley Moore.

liverpool fans singing the bobby firmino song for about 20 mins last night at leicester and he wasn't even playing ( injured till the end of the season ). true legend, will be sadly missed when he leaves this summer. that mane, salah and bobby trio up front were a good as any i've seen in my time following liverpool
you'll be sadly missed sir.
Arsenal have absolutely fucked it. It’s quite the decline in form!
