Did a double take on this cool bike earlier, bad pic, but I saw it was a gazelle and thought the tiny frame and 650c(?) wheels were cool, then saw that it’s got horizontal drop outs - sick!

Picked this up over the weekend, paint very dull but I think it would come up really nice with a polish, lovely bits of panto 😊, few nice campag bits that could be salvageable, unfortunately one ding in the bottom of the down tube.

Had a little ride on it this afternoon and it’s lovely, plan to strip it down and give it a full service - small bits to find are a crank dust cap, a wing nut for the number hanger, possibly a chunky Campagnolo headset, new bartape and tyres… eventually some shallow silver rim wheels…

this year could well be the year for my 653 to start having some da7400 bits attached to it. it's been waiting around far too long now

and hopefully finish for some summer 2024 riding
