a) He's walking around with a permanent lob on, and
b) 0:09 you can see that he's wearing a cock sleeve.

Fairly standard Telegraph, until you realise why the dog's name isn't on his own grave, and has been omitted from the article.

Not sure if there is further context in the programme but fitted suit trousers to an interview and appearing on a Channel 4 documentary doesn’t seem like he sees it as an issue, indeed seems pretty jovial/proud.
What were the chances that he seems a little bit of a dick

Both “can’t see this” but also “can’t touch this”.
The philosophy of Pastor MC Hammer right there

I agree with the original video and this clip proves their point. They all added some humour to the original video and the ‘duetting’ was worth it. There’s so many videos online now of people just recording themselves nodding along to a video which means they get all of the views and monetary benefits of those views compared to whoever posted the original video with the content that was actually interesting.
And yes I should stop caring about online content so much.

Predatory. For reference, a card with 14% annualised percentage rate would be a good-ish deal.

Uhh I think that really is fake.
Amex Platinum is not a credit card, it's a charge card. Designed to be paid back 100% every month.
They do offer a Pay Over Time "loan" (yeah splitting hairs on credit v, charge) but the apr is 20->28% depending.
-
• #14794
Nope. I've seen the same ad with the same APR.
I suspect the APR is mandatory due to ad regulations but, as it is a charge card with high acceptance criteria, the only one they can display is from deep in the Ts & Cs.

• #14795
Looks correct
https://www.americanexpress.com/uk/credit-cards/platinum-card/Also it is now a credit card, changed at the end of last year from charge card

I mean, no Amex card is designed to be used for actual credit. You get perks (automatic travel insurance, Avios, whatever) for using it and pay it off in full every month. But yes those APR numbers are insane.
-
• #14798
Amex cards are designed to be used for company expenses. You put all your hotel rooms etc on it then claim the money back , pay off the card and pocket the benefits as bunce.
-
• #14799
The APR is high because of the fee. Guess some people think the benefits are worth the fee.
-
• #14800
welp I didn't realize it had changed
had mine a long time (and yes the fee's are crazy but I get way more out of the perks due to travel)
hahaaa yeah he doesn't really seem sad about it, he's making do. He wants a Henry IIIV style codpiece, I reckon
