The battle of the big debtors
Obviously I'd like to see Everton relegate Leeds

He's been doing non-stop media for the past few weeks. No idea who he is but seems famous in the US.
Been hitting the pubs in Burnley too to really win the crowd over

Straight out of the Reynolds/McElhenney playbook.

Say what you like about celebrity owners, you'll never get Mohammad bin Salman down the pub with the fans, or Ryan Reynolds cutting up dissidents with bonesaws.

Getting a pint in at the Royal Dyche

Soccer is pretty tame compared with racing in terms of owners.

Another good article.
I like the point about upsetting grooved machines early. It buys into the whole “plans are great until you get punched in the face”.I don’t think it works on city anymore though.

Burnley's recent history against Guardiola's city will surely give Everton some confidence

Bit cheeky including that 6-0. Wasn't even Dyche! Also we're not Burnley.
Brighton away and City at home were both 'anything other than 0 points is a bonus' games, so we're still ahead of where we thought we'd be. I'm hoping they have one eye on the champions league semi final, Pep rests a few players and they turn in a defensive performance like they did for Demarai Gray's equaliser at the etihad (watch it again, the defending is a joke).
However if I were a betting man, I'd put money on Mahrez playing and Mahrez scoring. Loves a goal against us.
Anyway, this game is by the by, really. We need to focus on beating Wolves and Bournemouth.

Ah yes, they hammered us so often that I lost track.
Most teams we could have a good go at but against Man City we never looked near giving them a game.
Wolves and Bournemouth are a couple of ideal games to finish the season with though.

I went to Chelsea away at Burnley a few seasons ago. Three pints and a game of pool and I still got change from a tenner. It was like time travelling.
My mate that I went with is married to a proper Leeds lass and when he goes up to see her family his father-in-law always says to him 'eh-up Mark, you bought yer southern pounds up with you to spend?'

Spireites supporting mate is rather gutted.
(Should be three going down from League Two and two automatic spots and one playoff going up from the Conference.)

Late reply. But I agree, I don’t think it works with City any more. They’ve always been able to play though you and with Haaland now they can just go direct and smash through the 9 man defence.

County the worthy winners, finished miles ahead of chesterfield. Would have felt a bit wrong losing out so fair play for them for getting the job done. That missed Panenka though!

I was at the Lane last weekend and Wembley yesterday. 250+ minutes of football, of which we had the lead once for just over one minute combined in the two matches. I can't fucking believe we're going up.

Is there anywhere more reliable to watch live matches, other than Hesgoals? It's so glitchy today, it's unwatchable
