I figured that out earlier and machined a steel pin for it, cheers! Sadly the wooden piece, unsurprisingly, started to creak in a disconcerting way, so I won’t be using this again.

Annoying sqweeking sound. Not suspension block. On attempting to remove cranks, I've de threaded drive side crank arm. Any advice on getting it off? And does somebody have a right crank arm or set they are flogging? Many Thanks

Heat, big hammer. If that doesn't work, more heat, bigger hammer. Unless you have a suitably sized bearing puller handy.

How tall do Brompton riders get? Intrigued with these foldy things at the moment.

Best lube for a Brompton, to avoid black/greasy chain marks on contact? Whatever it is that comes on the stock model seems to work well, but now need to relube and my normal go-to (muc-off hydrodynamic) would leave the chain susceptible to marking up anything it touches

6'2'' is fine with the 580mm seapost - I think this is called the 'extended' seatpost but I think it is what now comes as standard.
If you are taller than that, I have, as does chokolateboywonder^ a telescopic seatpost which will easily accommodate someone who is 6'5''. If you are taller than that...

A waxed chain would be ideal on a Brompton, doesn't leave any marks.

Is changing the rear tube on a Brompton as much as a hassle as I've seen suggested or just an extra ten minutes or so? Pondering whether to go bike shop or do it myself
-
• #13524
I'm not very good at that kind of thing but changed mine without any trouble, certainly easier than the hassle of getting to a bike shop.

Literally no stress. Just make sure when refitting the toggle / indicator chain you screw it all the way in, then back 180degrees.
Old classic dark blue, their words, not mine.
