Cheers all for the suggestions. It's for a promaster tough. Got it on a Tide strap at the moment which I was hoping wouldn't soak up water as it is plastic fibres but still seems to a bit:
Sailcloth looks a good call, didn't realise that they generally weren't cloth and thought they were something like cordura. Annoying that the cheaper ones aren't available in 20mm though.
Barton ones are cheaper than I thought they were so may give that a try too.
