On the sailcloth topic. I've had my speedmaster on real sailcloth, not a rubberised one. I like the look and it's comfortable but the the keepers fray and look a little ratty in a very short time

Cheers all for the suggestions. It's for a promaster tough. Got it on a Tide strap at the moment which I was hoping wouldn't soak up water as it is plastic fibres but still seems to a bit:

Sailcloth looks a good call, didn't realise that they generally weren't cloth and thought they were something like cordura. Annoying that the cheaper ones aren't available in 20mm though.

Barton ones are cheaper than I thought they were so may give that a try too.

I really want to hate it but I somehow think it's quite cool

I can’t see another GS purchase for a good long while to be honest. Not until they make a slimmer sub-40mm hibeat GMT, on a better bracelet than their current offerings.

Be interested to hear your thoughts though once you’ve had a chance to see the watches.

"Normally" you tuck the end back under both keepers, so you have a bit of a loop at the end where it folds back.

I love that watch.

I think I've found a new GADA watch so could do with moving this on. Its very shiny we know this. Less than a year old cost me just under £800 on sale current rrp £935 box, papers and warranty £350 to anyone on here? It comes only with the unworn milanese with spare links but have loads of other straps i can include for cheap if you wanted any of them

That's a crazy price. Is the Milanese a polished clasp?

Yep it's as shiny as the case as well as the end clips but the strap itself isn't too shiny but don't think it would match up with yours
