be very suprised if you can get the results with this; if you push on the pin the top section will flare prematurely; you need to push against the inner section. Once in place you then need to have a cone shaped piece either end to flare the serrated section and flare / hold steady the other side.
I figured that out earlier and machined a steel pin for it, cheers! Sadly the wooden piece, unsurprisingly, started to creak in a disconcerting way, so I won’t be using this again.
