If only you'd been selling this five months ago. Would have looked great on my Ciocc and you're in the neighbourhood. Good luck with the sale.

Any chance you'd consider posting this?
Would be perfect for a Merckx frame I've just bought but I'm gonna struggle to get to SE15 any point soon (am in Bristol).

I would post the group, but I don't want to get into posting the wheels and they also need to go. It wouldn't really work to split as I'd end up with the wheels and the main motivation here was to reduce stuff!

Absolutely delish, but thankfully I don't need a group right now, as I have 2.5 of them, with only one frame needing building!!! You might get a quicker sale Retrobike?

K gonna see if a mate can pick it all up as I need the wheels as well, thanks

Ok keep me posted.

Surprised to say, despite quite some interest no one has managed to collect this rather lovely group (yet). A quick bump with a fiver off.

.
A lovely (mostly) Campagnolo Chorus '88 7 speed groupset. Quite rare, in very good condition and lots of extra stuff in there to complete a build. I am a bit reluctant to move it on, it took ages to find it all. But I have cut back on my frame collection and now this is a groupset without a frame. This would look amazing on the right frame. Give it a new life!
Includes the core Chorus group from a Merckx on here: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/347064/
Campagnolo Chorus '88 Shifters, Front DR, Rear DR*, Chainset, Bottom Bracket, Seatpost, 7sp chain
Wheels: Campag Chorus hubs / Mavic MA40 rims / Dura ace cassette
Some catalogue shots of the group here: https://www.disraeligears.co.uk/site/campagnolo_-_chorus_april_1988_version_scan_2.html
I added: Campag Athena Brakes (same era), Campag pedals (not sure which range but a nice visual match), Campag Chorus aero brake levers with original hoods
Rear DR is really interesting, can take up to 32t rear cog
Condition notes: Essentially all seems very good to me, the beautifully designed cranks and chainrings are in great shape. I never built up the group but the original seller was very comprehensive. It includes all the bits like chainring bolts and bolt covers (expensive things to replace). The seat post seems to have been well polished at some point so the c-record era logo is almost gone, you can just about make it out. The wheel rims are almost like new, anodised finish is mostly still present on the brake track. Front hub is perfect, rear feels like it could use being repacked with grease but still working fine.
Price for everything: SOLD
Not looking to split.
Collection only, SE15
