  • Hope not. 🙏🤣 it’s sub 2.5m to the highest point so complies with permitted development. That’s the max when within 2m of the boundary. I’m slightly alarmed by how big it looks - height wise. I have specifically put it in the most south east corner of the garden . The deck is north east so gets the sun lunchtime through to the last rays before it drops behind the Nextdoor block of flats. The roof is sloped to work with the rising east sun in the morning after it appears over the tops of the houses on the opposite side and also to direct rain into the garden. The roof eaves will overhang on the south facing side with the window to provide shading and limit heat gain. I’ll build an external shutter if necessary. The large door on the north side will be a frame with polycarbonate in to give general north light and help to make the space feel bigger. That’s the theory anyway
