Had some time and made a pin press tool. Not the prettiest job, but it should work.

be very suprised if you can get the results with this; if you push on the pin the top section will flare prematurely; you need to push against the inner section. Once in place you then need to have a cone shaped piece either end to flare the serrated section and flare / hold steady the other side.
