Hi there. I'm interested in this. You say the seat stay adapter has been cut but there are spares. Does this mean the spares are included or would I need to buy a new adapter altogether (presumably this https://www.ortlieb.com/uk_en/quick-rack-seat-stay-adapter ?) if yours doesn't fit the geometry of my frame? Thanks!

Not sure what you mean about 'uncut', it's only the seat stay adapter that's been cut, which must be purchased separately.

The photos look like it’s the back country one which is classed as water resistant. The material is still waterproof but the water can work in through the seems. I used to have one and used a black bag inside just to stop any water that did make its way in, worked well enough through a week of rain in Scotland
