What’s the official forum position
The official position is "No foul". The community standard seems to be that people post multiple items in one thread for their own convenience rather than out of consideration for the display prominence of other people's posts. I'd look at each instance on its own merits to decide whether somebody was rightly separating disparate items or being a dick

What’s the official forum position on someone posting multiple items up in classifieds and doing them as a million separate posts, rather than a single post?
Just feels a bit spammy to me!
