Don't diss Slough.
You ain't no Betjeman. A railway bore.
Gervais only disses it because he's from an even worse place, Reading.However I suspect, the town of my creation, had deeper problems. The council was in special measures, so the Lab incumbents must be REALLY bad and got the hiding they deserved.
Time for a change in that local council.
