Upper chain guide (which I have to get for my new spider) vs upper and lower for an Enduro bike- what do people think?

I've had a OneUp upper guide, and currently a knock-off version of it; fitted and never thought about it again. It's only there as a failsafe, as already said clutch mechs and chainrings are doing most of the work these days
