Offworld it is. Beckenham start. Canterbury end. Optional Whitstable extension. [Shines Offworld ATB symbol into Gotham night sky]

Yes yes, 14th May, Beckenham mansion, 8:30am leave at 9:00am cycle to Canterbury on the pilgrims way using the route gifted above, could unofficially go all the way to the coast depending on the mood etc.
Anyway, top tier graphic design for attention.

Weather is looking OK for this so me +1 definitely interested. Will likely pick you guys up at Elmers End
-
• #862
Sweet, I know you’ll have no problems catching up if you miss us haha.
All welcome if anyone else fancies it, no idea how many people are turning up for this one, usually I have a rough idea, but should be fun nonetheless

Probably a mix of around 60/40 tarmac to bridleway. One section, and I can never remember exactly where it is, but it's after Harrietsham I think, can be really tricky as it's low lying, can be very wet and has a tricky camber for most of its length. But generally you can get away with a more road-like tyre, especially someone with your tekkers.

Tyres?!?
Damn.
Gonna be a bit late. -
• #866
jks jks jks but I have definitely ballsed up the trains. Seems a few engineering works and so I’m starting from Victoria and getting to Beckenham Jct at 0850. Bleargh.

hahah you got a picture of Appu post-OTB - that’s great.
Nice to meet you man! And yeah honestly a really good route, the off-road continued like that but drier after you guys dipped off. Good balance of techy and fast, and the lanes were really nice too.
Cheers for the route @andyp, it’s a good one.
p.s. after chatting to people on this ride - and a surprising amount of north London heads turning up today - we’re probably gonna go over the river. So on the 10th of June it will probably be London-Cambridge off-road, with the option of doing the return ride too as a few people today and on the last ride are up trying to do that circular 200km+ route that Gio posted in here a while ago

Definitely continued to be fun, mainly type one with a side order of some type two over here, plus dodging the odd motocrosser. Lovely riding with you all.
-
• #870
Yeah, that was good : )
Thanks to all! Thanks @ojwithbits for leading and cheers for the route @andyp - this time of year, in that weather, was for me, the best of the p way and Kent.
Ap is a mensch, I hope he’s dried out by now.Couple of thoughts:
Several pages back is the Pete Churchill Cambridge-off-road route, that had a memorable ploughed field section.
June 10 is a potential fixture clash with Badgers in Epping? -
• #871
Ahhh yeah potentially a clash, that’s annoying, but I guess now summer is kicking off the season of weekend ride plans clashing is upon us. Hopefully badgers ride on the 3rd…
I’m doing the Deal With It overnight ride on the 3rd so that weekend is a no go-er for me <\3

First TORC* ride of the year this week:
Roughly following the NCR21 from Se25 to The Archive for pizza and then a train back from Three Bridges. Meet at Arena tram stop at 18.30 to leave soon after.
I'll get a .gpx file up before the day.

Damn, will be in Cambridge all day so won't be back in time to make this.
-
• #874
Last few summers, TORC rides have been pretty regular so hopefully you can make some others

this okay to share with non-forumers?
(As in, just texting a few of the guys that were on that Pilgrims ride on Sun)
Who’s ride is this on May 14th (Pilgrims’)? Interested
