Sounds like me. My brother is having a coronation BBQ and has invited my parents and loads of other people. My wife and I have booked a weekend away to avoid that and all of the other shite that is going on.

Were up there at the weekend so I disgusted myself by flicking through the papers. It's so, so bad. Quite a few topics now have to be avoided at family events.

I really don’t get it at all but then I look at my family - won’t have a word said against the royals (Harry and Meghan the exception, strangely quiet about Nonce Andrew) but the do read The Telegraph/Mail and vote Tory so there is that.
I am a huge disappointment to them (obviously not just in regard to the above)
