    The nice thing about the WRP is that it's instant engagement rather than pushing through 12 degrees of dead rotation before you get some drive, which I think (seems!) to be a significant advantage, although IDK if that's going to translate on the trail.

  • Yeah I think it's comparing apples to oranges really, the WRP is doing quite different things.
    I think if I had 155mm cranks and the WRP on my Nomad then it would make my other two mtb's utterly redundant.

    I've heard of folk reducing the number of points of engagement in hubs down to 12 to help reduce kick back. Haven't looked too much into it, but I think it's something like removing pawls in a hope hub.
    If someone made a 12t ratchet ring for DT I'd give it a go.
