Someone got in touch with my mum about her old yellow mx5. Lots of found memories driving down France in it.

Things move slowly in France, but I finally got to collect my Mini.
The old owner was a military vehicle maintenance man. The bills are amazing. His wife is a gendarme; she was tearful to see it go. He produced a folder of history. Your perfect seller, basically.
I found a previous owner's photos of the car on Facebook (always google the registation!), which is cool. I think it would be a bit stalky to let her know I own her old car now, but maybe she'd be happy to know it's still loved. I don't know.
Anyway, a few nice surprises, like it has already had an electronic ignition conversion, and halogen headlights.
Anyway, I drove it the hour's journey home and it was great. Now it's in its new home.
