I sold the 3706, not sure why I didn’t love it. The Mark XVI and XVIII gone too. Very nice looking watches, but just never perfect, the 18 feels too big at 40mm, Sinn 556A does a better job for me. And it’s “a bit” cheaper. The XVI is great and very well proportioned at 39mm, but the one I had was freshly serviced and still had some issues with power reserve and accuracy. I didn’t want to argue with the guy who serviced it as he took it back and said nothing was wrong after checking it over for a few days - just weird as it was definitely losing a significant amount of time when I had it. So yeah, that’s gone. I had an XVIII in the past which had a problem with “finding” the second position to change the date. Winding didn’t feel great. Overall, only the 3706 felt great and worked as it should, but overall I don’t think I’ll ever get another IWC.
Happy Friday!

I'm a dial queen but not into the CW Twelve. Bracelet is lovely but the dial makes me want to hurl. Looks like static electricity feels.

I just can’t get excited about yet another derivative integrated bracelet sports watch that’s lacking any ideas of its own.
Despite actually being able to walk in to a shop (ok, website) and actually buy it.

After all the Christopher Ward chat I dug this out today. Think I'll keep an eye on the Twelve to see if it ever hits the sale but suspect it may be too popular for that. There's not enough thin, non-dress, watches out there.

It's really only the RO and Nautilus that suffer that problem. Everything else you can buy freely - the Ingenieur, Octo Finissimo, Laureato, Alpine Eagle, Zenith Skyline, Citizen 0200, Tissot PRX, BR-05 etc etc. Can't imagine even the VC Overseas is that difficult to purchase new.
And anyway, you can buy a Royal Oak or Naulitus any day of the week, it's just how much you're willing to spend on it.

Love it! I'm scared to try one on, mostly because I'll want one, but also because I think my wrists will be too small.

Dug out my old Seiko sub the other week. Replaced a very scratched crystal and put the original Pepsi bezel back on.

Sweet! Happy Birthday! 🎉
Fed up of sitting all week and using a windowsill as a standing desk.
Timer on for 4.30.
