• Dave Marsh 753r track frame. Undrilled. Seat tube 550mm centre to centre, top tube 545mm centre to centre. Comes with sealed headset in good condition.

The Bad; Some paint missing from drive side seat stay. A previous owner has tried to touch up other patches around the frame and has not done a brilliant job. There is a couple of very small dings on the drive side of the top tube. At a guess I would say that it was from a handlebar swinging.

The Good; Very Very few 753r track frames around these days. This is a really well made example. I love the burly dropouts, cutaway BB shell and meaty crown. The frame/fork/headset weighs 2.19kg and I had it built up as a sub 7kg bike which is crazy, considering the parts were far from world beating! All threads in really good condition. BB and headtube have been recently faced.

People are taking the piss for 753r on ebay and asking 6/700 quid. Lets see if someone can give this a home for £270 for frame/fork/headset/seat binder bolt

I also have a Dia Compe Gran Compe front clamp on brake that suits the frame perfectly. It is in really good condition and comes with a set of Swissstop BXP blue pads. I spent ages trying to get hold of this, they seem to be rarer than hen's teeth.
Lets say £20 with the frame and £40 without.

Collection from Bethnal Green or Sydenham Hill, or I can post at cost.

Let me know if I am way off with the pricing.

  • Too small for me, but 753R is ideal material for a track frame. GLWS.
BTW, what's the second bolt on the brake fixing for?

  • Wow that’s nice 👍

  • It kind of leans against the crown of the fork to give the brake a bit more rigidity i think!

  • Is this still available?
