The "Fotos" app is pretty capable nowadays, definitely handles straightening / cropping, levels and TIFF exporting nicely 👍 -
I acquired creative suites and then it kept locking it and eventually had enough and now just pay for it. Its annoying as I bought CS6 years ago and it was fine until the new macs didnt like it!

On a seperate note, I've lost my adobe suite use since leaving my last job. I am so out of touch with the alternatives. Is there anything free thats worth bothering with? Been using lightroom for probably 10 years, but the only editing I do on film tends to be straighten/crop and exporting TIFFS, occasionally levels.
