Made new application using Gmail id, all worked fine. Heavy lift configuring the shipment Ts&Cs but will be under way soon. Cataloguing looks long tho!

Just discovered that there is a Discogs Android app and if your records have a barcode, you can scan it and add it to your collection directly (if there are more than one release you may still have to select the correct version)

Yea, often there's quite a few with the same bar code, but still this saves a lot of time!
Sometimes you can also scan the barcode of (a photo of) an album on amazon etc. to get an idea which version it is, as often the details are not in the product description..
