They make such a fun town and about bike, theres one in my workshop just now, same colour but with some mods, shifter and a genuine yoshi, loud enough but not obnoxious, makes great little noises in traffic. Found it pretty good through the pot/quarries that we have instead of roads in Glasgow, run tyre pressure closer to 20 than 30 helped a lot

Ulez compliance achieved on the Harley today. Crappy cold ride out to Bow and £350 later all good.
Day enhanced by some dipshit cunt deliveroo rider in Clapham nearly having me off as he swerved during an emergency stop to wave to his mate and a van driver reversing into me at a junction near home. Fortunately I hit the horn as he slammed it into reverse so it was a nudge rather than a full on shunt.Really enjoying the 883 despite a morning of cuntery driving, much nicer in traffic than I feared and quite well balanced. Doesn’t like the edges on those oblong sleeping policemen though .

I'd say it's the ultimate city bike, that or a zoomer/ruckus. It's all national speed limit roads around me :(

Awesome! What did you get up to? New rubber?

Fresh oil(s), brake fluid, exhaust flap delete, general sprucing. Eventually it'll get a new exhaust system and some aesthetic stuff, but I'll probably wait until winter. Time to enjoy having a modern bike at the moment!

Gas Gas Pampera would be a good shout? The early txt Gas Gas before they went to the Pro model were so bombproof (pre 2003). Seen a few on marketplace recently as well. TY250 mono are decent money are really really great bikes. Best all rounders.
We have a TY175 and a beamish and the TY is just so much better. Wouldn't be great on the road though but it would do it. 250 would be way better. -

A first, today.
An absolute hench drug-dealer-esque chav, (think >6ft south London, ‘streetwear’ poster boy) came up to me as I got on the CBR and told me “that’s an ugly ass bike”.
I didn’t hear him so he repeated it, amazingly. I just replied “thank you” and turned the key as he said “just those colours…”
Seemed totally let down that I didn’t react, and in my head all I was thinking was “where’s yours then?”
Everyone’s a critic.

Yea TY250/pinky is up there, but looks like anything with wheels is £££overpriced at the mo, so I’ll just not

Suzuki TU250GB Grasstracker Bigboy
Just in case someone here is interested I've finally gotten around to advertising this...
If anyone is keen I could bring it to UK in June on a worktrip. -

You won't go wrong. My fave trials bike ever made. So forgiving and a great all rounder. They are always a bit soft on the rear though so budget for a YSS shock. Oh and a set of high rise Renthals. Also easy to swap but you want the later disc front end on whichever you chose.

I was thinking that. Should have asked if that has worked as a chat up line.

Do like that zuki 250 set up.
Neat simple, lovely bike...

Thanks! I'm hoping it will sell quickly as I've got the replacement on standby so fingers crossed!

Odd, niche question, anyone know of motorcycle friendly dog travel bag?
I am loath to learn to drive a car, but may need to take my dog to day care more regularly, and a doggy tank bag seems like a potential solution.
He is a 9kg Border Terrier so doesn't take up too much room.
Rather not shove him in a courier bag for the journey. -

Seen a few riders with the rucksacks with the plastic domes like these
Hasn’t looked particularly nice for either party.
Bored at work googling throws up thishttps://www.petonwheels.eu/about
Looks much nicer.
Congrats on the new bike man, health to enjoy and all that!
My OH is also extremely keen on RNineT would you believe, every time I talk bikes she just says "why don't you just get one of those really nice BMWs"...
I should look into this further :)
