I normally get my routes in to my 530 from RWGPS via a GarminIQ app.
This has always been fine, and still is fine for short routes. However the last couple of long routes have taken ages to sync across.
Assuming you're at home, if you use wifi you don't need to turn on bluetooth or install an app on the Garmin.
If you also join the Garmin to your phone's hotspot, you can plan a route in RWGPS on your phone and then sync the Garmin via the hotspot wifi.
hippy hates bluetooth
OK, thanks. I wasn't at home, but mostly I am when I want to do this.
