@Dammit This. it's so easily doable. Modern textiles are amazing. I've done multi day 40c and stayed cool. Obviously you'll sweat, but you won't lose your shit.
What's the cost of putting two wheels on the ground over there? Just because you always go 100%, how about this?
Thinking of doing something similar with the Niner.

You’d be mental to buy a sports bike like that as your first bike and as something for riding through a city. Totally shit for both.

Something like a Versys 650 would be perfect.
