• There are a few issues with SG, number one being the COE or certificate of entitlement - it's a licence to have a car on the road, lasts for 10 years and whilst the price varies it's currently $120,000.

So, as an example, my V Class (cost to me, £46,000) would be $420,000 in Singapore.

My 911 would be around $250,000 in Singapore.

So! Whilst I'm not averse to spending money on things that I enjoy SG makes you really consider whether cars should be one of those things.

Therefore I'm wondering what it would be like to be wearing motorcycle leathers in very humid 38 degree heat. I imagine - horrible. But, I don't know.

  • Mesh textiles are your friend.

I’ve done dry 45 degrees and humid 35 degrees in mesh with no issue.

  • If it's any consolation I'm just back from a week in Morocco where the temperature was 49°c one day and it was really still bearable once you were on the move.
As stated textiles are your friend as opposed to leather (although perforated leather is a good shout too) and depending on what flavour of biking you're thinking of going for there are plenty of options...

Why not take up motocross/ enduro?
