Basically this with Time branding
-
• #78
lol. well at least the frame is real
-
• #79
is this a TIME first ? i had one 5 years ago... until a white van crushed it.
edit : yes the saddle is fake
the frame is real if it has the nice weaving on fork steerer -

first TIME ye. I'm going on the frame being real on the basis of it having a quickset headset.

yes and that too. i had an issue with the front derailleur hanger movign laterally under cable load, the seattube had some flex unfortunately. other than that, stiff but compliant ( lol ), but short lived for me.

I see what you did there 👀

As I said, I don’t mind the hijacking but please don’t contaminate the thread with photos of questionable counterfeit saddles ;)
Edit: might come across more offensive than intended, pardon me ^^In general, I feel like Time frames benefit from more subtle saddle/bar tape colours as the logos are already quite shouty - not the case on yours but I bet it would look great with a stealthy build. In fact, I always wondered what mine would look like if I stripped off the logos. I started a time thread on PF a while ago, some pretty builds in there which might serve as an inspiration.

Also, If anyone has a cheap rotor powermeter going spare, I’d love to put one on the time. Bonus pic:

Impressively seamless bar tape to coloured stem transition tho.

I would mind. This is your personal project thread. Anyone’s free to create their own.
OT: How’s the
LOOKTime doing these days? -
• #88
Fair enough, but I don’t mind really. Which LOOK do you mean, I don’t remember ever owning one but I do like them.

Now I’m making a fool of myself. Meant the Time of course.

I put it in hibernation at my parents place after I rode it in the alps last summer. I hope I can get in some quality riding time on it this summer again but I’ll have to see how things work out. It’s a lovely bike but not that well-suited for the kind of road riding I do around Berlin - here I prefer my neo retro steel bikes with less fragile tyres.

Really nice. I've started a time thread in bikes and bits as there's been a few projects come along recently. Mines in bits so will have to wait a little.

noted 😁. thread contamination over.
here's hoping you get some decent rides in your time this summer and there's more great photos in this thread.
have you considered power meter pedals instead of a dedicated pm? I've been pretty impressed with my favario assiomas and pretty cheap.
-
• #93
Cheers! Powermeter pedals might be a more sensible option, also for swapping between bikes. Will look into it. That being said, a rotor PM would certainly add to the sled aesthetics :)

Took the Time on a roady vacation with some friends. Couldn’t have asked for a better bike - such a joy to ride.

I don't know that I've ever seen a real Time saddle but it's probably the most common eBay/DHgate/AliExpress carbon saddle. They're usually about £15 new. Just FYI, if you paid more than that, be suspicious and try to find out it's legit
