I run an Outback living at 1000m in the Pyrenees.
Amazing car for you're use.
If in the UK I'd buy a shogun or land cruiser (both will go to the moon), everyone drives a land cruiser here for good reason. . But outback if you don't want a proper 4x4.
A cursory eBay search shows this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/374588533338?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=fkmihlbkrgc&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Ps. Congrats, sound dreamy!
Opinions sought… I’m moving to Snowdonia with my family this summer. We’re living up a steep hill, about 5 mins off the road (up a rough-ish track but usually possible in a normal car).
We are going to need a car that can cope with a bit of ice and snow in the winter, and has decent boot space. I don’t want an suv or a diesel car and have a very small budget - £5k max.
Currently looking at the Subaru Outback c2007.
Anything else you would suggest? 4wd and decent clearance are a must, as is plenty of boot space.
Thanks!
