  • I think you should be ok, the advantage with the Paddington ones is they're on the platforms so there's a lot of footfall around them all through the day. I heard a stat (no idea if it's genuine or not), that a bike with a Gold rated lock has never been reported stolen from a London station because there'll always be one locked up with a lock made of cheese that thieves will go for instead. My bike is a scabby old beater locked up with a good lock and has lived at Paddington since 2019 (including months through Covid when I wasn't riding it) with no issues. A few times I've accidentally left lights and/or my helmet on it overnight and found them still there the next day too.
