What are the feet you've got the stands on? I need something like that for my floorstanders...
Two things:

The stands are just to get them to the right height, but they're pretty IMHO.
The feet I added to prevent damage to the hardware floor, and yes to help isolate the speakers from vibrations in the floor but far more to limit the amount of bass travelling from the speakers through the floor (i.e. don't offend the downstairs neighbours by avoiding turning the floor into a large bass drum where possible).

Those grills actually look great once all in place. They look like C-3PO esque droids singing at you.

Whilst we're asking - what are the stands for the amp? I've been looking for something like that that will go on top of a sideboard rather than stacking things.

Thank you - yes my main issue is the floor protection, the speakers have spikes underneath which came with little rubber protective caps but I noticed the other day some of the caps seem to have vanished and the floor's getting scratched, so want to do something conclusive. Will investigate, cheers.
