Bought on marketplace, dude was having a clear out of his dads cycling gear who had passed away. Bike is all above board. I don’t deal with anything stolen and there is a high street chain ready to give me £500. Which is pretty low imo. Bargain to be had by someone.

What did you pay for it as a starting point?

I bought this. A 2013 madone 5.9 di2. A steel langster (orange frame). And giant propel advance 1 for £3200, after some water ring down. His dad had bought the bike toward the end of lockdown. Told me he had ridden it literally once and then his condition worsened and it never went back on the road.
Have sold the propel for 1000. Madone is a pet project. & this really isn’t getting the love it deserves.
I’m selling for a fair price that reflects my margins. I’m a big believer of passing on blessings. High street store taking for 500 breaks my heart however cos they’re gonna sell for 1500 easily.
