  • ya, saw that too. price is ridiculous, even for an older model. adress&name checks out, but that doesn't mean anything.

  • I had my Douze serviced at London Green Cycles in Q4 2022 at a cost of £333.96.

They did a great job on replacing all my steering cables (which were about half of the service cost), however although they replaced in Enviolo shifter, my old NuVinci380 was not shifting, for that matter, the shifter was not turning at all.

I did not really pay much attention as it was stuck mid-range so all good for London use with the e-assist. Also the NuVinci380 hub was absolutely shot so I just assumed it had died.

I have just refitted my rear wheel (Enviolo Extreme 36h SA on 26" Ryde Andrea) and to my surprise, the rear hub was still not working.

I followed the cable and LGC had pinched the new outer cable on the frame bolts :-)

    All sorted now!

  • with train tickes to get it we are talking sub 500eurobucks...

  • Yeah, I dont need it ( im actually trying to sell 2 cargobikes currently) Buttttt a beater bullet would for sure make me happy this summer. Someone was already in line ahead of my but ill go if my ticket comes up, offered to meet in the larger near by town.

  • damn, I'd be on my way in a heartbeat

  • Poor spannering skills by LGC. I’d expect better from them! Glad you got it sorted! :)

  • I think I spotted this recently. Looked great in the flesh! How does the pup like it?

  • Thanks! Dog absolutely loves it, has been in a bullitt since a puppy..

Raptro straps, think these were knockoff ones from ebay - didn't last a long time. Had some genuine ones that have held up really well though

  • thank you both! the green appeals

  • yeah, these are the ones i was going to buy next, they look great

  • What a cutie! I'd love a Bullitt to lug my dog around in. I'm concerned she'd try and jump out if she saw something she wanted to fight/eat/play with though.

  • Beautiful doggy !

  • Mk1 or 2. Watch out for cracks in the seat tube, usually they all break eventually, everything since 2013 they fixed it.

  • Oopps, guess you just figured it out when fitted new wheel and still wasn't shifting?
New extreme duty hub hopefully does the trick. I think most folk with the heavy duty hub get along ok with them so long as they do shift and don't just sit in one place for weeks at a time

  • I'd just thought I'd flag my UA Family was stolen yesterday. If anyone hears or sees anything that might be related, please let me know .

  • What a fucker! I'll keep an eye out for it.

  • Anyone got any hot takes on the R&M Multitinker? We’re thinking of shifting our Babboe City Mountain now the kids are getting bigger and I reckon it’s that or a Tern GSD. Want to be able to carry 2 out of 3 kids (5, 8, 10), shopping and handle the occasional oddly shaped thing strapped to the back.

  • I think when it comes to long tails like Multitinker, GSD etc the decision point is pretty much accessory ecosystem, would you need the Tern storm shield? If not then I'd get R&M. Way more thought in design IMO and the build standards are higher.

  • To be honest im not sure even that is a blocker, have seen storm shields lightly modified onto a number of longtails Ex the one from decathlon.

  • Yeah, I think the R&M range looks fine for our needs. We live in Edinburgh, but I think in bad weather we'd just dress them up. The R&M bench seat with side bars looks like it'd be fine.

  • You spelt Benno wrong

  • Benno too! Great bikes.
