Swedish M59 trousers? Some of my favourite cotton cloth out there.

As much as I like them, and agree on the cloth, I struggle to wear Swedish army surplus in Sweden :/

Short sleeve shirts? Prefer button down collar to a camp collar and no to polo shirts.
I can’t see any on Drakes unless I’m being stupid. -

Think I’d be looking at eBay for vintage US brands like RL or Jcrew etc
-
• #4741
I only own one madras button down short sleeve shirt so maybe I’m not the best help. Love a polo or camp collar tho 😬

US brands
They fucking love a short sleeve shirt with chinos don't they!
Got to have a pocket for your pens too.

What about Ben Sherman, for less of an outsourced-to-St Paul-Minnesota vibe?
-
• #4744
The fit of that and the collar roll, or lack thereof, are an absolute f'in disgrace. Get that shit outta here!

Teamed with a pair for Ted Baker stonewash bootcuts and some Base London tan rewinds. Not a S&L in the country you wouldn’t be welcomed in with open arms

When it's too warm for your Stoney...

I mean they're not going for a new romantic Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen look, so I don't really think you need a collar roll.
But I'll conceed it's a bit snug.

What type of cloth? Airy hemp to Oxford to...?

Cheers peoples.
@Tenderloin Yeah eBay should be my first port of call. I’ve got one nice button down RL seersucker short sleeve in navy (with navy logo so you can’t see it) which fits the bill but need some choices. I have a couple of J Crew camp collars from before they left the UK but I think they make my neck look disproportionately long lol. Must do more dumbell shrugs.
@hugo7 Having spent the 90’s as a pretentious mod I have an rational dislike of Ben Sherman, an OG Brutus gingham might work though.
@withered_preacher Cotton preferred, oxford, seersuckers etc, not really a fan of linen or hemp. Wasn’t there a chap on here who had a company making hemp clothes, maybe I need to be a bit open minded.
@JB Noice, will have a scan, thanks.
Suggestions for nice pocket T'shirts? I have a couple Merz B Schwanen crew neck T's that are perfect in weight and quality but don't fit me all that well so i'll skip their pocket T options. Looking for something similar with a pocket in trendy neutral colours (olive, griege, charcoal etc).
