Less than one year old and only ridden a couple of times last year - so pretty much new condition and immaculate

I have upgraded the saddle to a lighter Specialized Power Expert, and upgraded the handlebar to a narrower, more aero width 36cm Pro plt. I will include the original 38cm specialized bar if required.

Was checking the bike over this afternoon and I’ve discovered this hairline crack in the right shifter where the brake hose goes in. The brakes have been fine the past year and there are no leaks so can assume it’s safe and it’s just the casing. Everything is solid. This must have happened in the factory or when the bike was built in the shop. Either way I’ve googled this, and it seems fairly common and is known (Shimano responded by recently updating their casings without the metal pin that is visible) and this one should be fine with all the internals, olives etc. all metal and sealed.

However, I feel the fair and right thing for me to do is to reduce the asking price, so that the buyer can replace the shifter for cosmetic reasons or simply pocket the saving, as it will probably never need replacing.

I’ve now added a boxed brand new set of carbon wheels that I can sell with the bike at an amazing price. And before you ask - I'm not selling the wheels separately yet.

PRICE REDUCTION and final call at forum prices before the bike is listed elsewhere, and I have to pay fees and delivery.
