  • It's not that, I really like how this bike looks and rides, and the 70s Japanese engineering and build quality is unreal - it makes working on it a dream.

    It's the activity itself. It's exhilarating to ride the bike, fast accelerations, pops and crackles from the exhaust, but I dunno, I just feel like I get much more from old cars, or bicycles.

    Maybe I just need a few nice long rides in good weather to make me fall for it.

  • I kinda get how you feel....I love my gs550, the look, the sound, the riding when I'm out in the middle of no where peak summer.

    But I do not like how problematic and temperamental old bikes are some times and really puts me off...i know that's the charm sometimes but with limited free time / money it's a hard frivolous item to have some times.

    And the fact I love riding / fixing bicycles too much most of the times takes priority
