I have two saeco project pending at the moment:
Viper red Team Bike
- i think i have all the parts together, even nos bartape and tyres
- still need to refurbish the spinergys (polish brake surfaces, polish carbon, change freehub, apply decals)
- but somehow I feel reluctant to put spinergys on the 2000 frame set where they used ksyriums
- currently I am honestly considering to sell all the parts and just keep the frame for neo-retro
SAECO USA
- i had all the parts together in january
- But the super record group from NL was in a 7/10 state and I didnt feel this was appropriate to put on such a clean build
-since then I havent been motivated to source a new group - bottom line: frameset, wheelset and ENVE parts have been sitting in the basement untouched
However, next week there will be a nice little surprise in the post so lets see if that changes hybernation on (one of) the two projects
In the meantime I wanted to say thanks to more than 60,000 views in three years - just WOW!!!11

Current cave status
On the floor: only #purposebikes
On the wall: Unneccessary projects
After a long time in an intermediate status, things are feeling like they have been consolidating recently
One little surprise is still in transit but basically what you see is all I need (for 2023 at least)
will take some proper pics of the finished mtb (what you cannot see is that I need to service the hubs)
build a (mostly) OG saeco in viper red (need to refurbish the spinergys a bit)
build an MGOOF saeco USA (need to find an 11 speed (super) record groupset still)
wait for the little surprise to arrive
