I listened to it earlier today, there are a couple of tracks I liked but quite a bit of it sounded 'poppy' (to me on a first listen).

What did you make of it?

I like the guy, he's got something to say - and I was wondering where he was going to go (sound-wise) after the last album - and yea, not a big fan of the "poppy" / mainstream kinda sound of the new release either to be honest.
To be fair I probably should listen to it a couple more times as well.

I agree, I should give it another shot. I didn't finish it yesterday as I got a bit bored with it after a while.
