Totem? They're all over Canuck Audio Mart and I think they'd suit your listening preferences. They definitely are not bright up top. I have the same preferences as you and I really, really love my Totem's. Out of all of the things I own that I get bored of very quickly, be it bicycles, watches or whatever else, my Sky Tower's are the only thing I can't bring myself to let go of and switch out.
Should work well with your Marantz, also.
