• With some regret I have decided to put my Dave Yates Diablo up for sale, I have owned this bike since about 1992 and we've been through a lot but its not getting used any more and I'd rather see it go to a good home.

Originally sold as a Pearson in my ownership the frame has been refurbished (twice) by Dave himself and is currently blue over pink fade. As part of the refurbishment the cable routing was changed to all follow the top tube; the rear brake bridge (for cantis) was removed and rack mounts added.

    Frame material: Columbus Cro-Mor
    Seat tube (CtC): 20" / 51cm
    Top Tube: CtC: 23" / 58.5cm

I'm somewhere between 6'3" and 4" and it is fine if a little small for me - suggest somewhere around 5'10" to 6'2" would be perfect.

Forks are Pace RC-30 converted (by Dave) to Aheadset fitting. Uncut as you can see so plenty of scope for adjustment.

Wheels are Mavic CrossRide that have done less than 100km.

    Components:
    RD: Shimano XT
    Cassette: Shimano HG 8 speed
    FD: Shimano Deore (top pull)
    Chain: yes it has one
    Brakes: XT V-brake
    Brake levers/shifters: Shimano XTR RapidFire+
    Cranks: Shimano XT (triple) 175mm
    Pedals: not included
    Bars: Ritchey alloy
    Stem: Crank Brothers
    Grips/bar-ends: Lifeline Ergon-like copy
Seatpost: can't remember (or work it out from the pictures and as the bike is in the garage behind the car its a bit of a production to get it out)
Seat clamp: some sort of superlight titanium thing that was all the rage in about 1995
Saddle: Charge Spoon or Selle Italia Shiver (but not the Flite in the pictures)

Asking £500, collected from Barnes SW13.

Feel free to ask any questions or ask for more pictures.
