I remember going into a fast food place a while back. We needed to feed the kids quickly so opted for an empty one rather than going home or grabbing snacks. There were only a handful of people in the restaurant but an almost relentless stream of couriers kept coming through the door. It took forever.

There's a few takeaway places near me that I won't go to anymore after having to sit drunk for a frustrating amount of time for my order to be done because of the number of online orders that are being churned out and sitting on the counter waiting to be picked up. The food must be shite by the time it's delivered.

All the delivery stuff that exists now. I can’t even pop to my corner shop without some bloke on a scooter coming in, jumping the queue and picking up a couple of bottles of alcohol (I assume) anymore.
