Dammit-
For MTB’ing, I was floored by the riding around Ban Pa Kham. Proper jungle terrain. Bikes were a bit poor though since I rented.
Done parts of that loop on mopeds. Brother was living in the far north and he had know how on some spectacular loops.
It’s 100% worth it, especially at a chill pace.
They weren’t kidding when they called it the Golden Triangle.

One of my favourite parts of the world. Always went in non toxic season though. Proper great riding.
Further north is way more wild. On the way to Mae Hong Son
