You know what, that was my original want. Then realised I'd rather a pompetamine (which you just don't seem to be able to find ever!), then decided actually I'd rather something further along the MTB-spectrum like a Charge Cooker EBB or a SS Inbred, then my mate started building up a SO-EZ and now I'm back to 700c disc, but im leaning towards fixed as I never get to ride my poor neglected Donohue these days!

I had exactly the same thought process and ended up with a Pomp with a disc fork. I've only used it for commuting/getting about rather than any off road stuff but it's loads of fun.
