Losa was one of the best Italian builders of all time.

That is a bargain, GLWS.

He certainly was! One of the italian grandmasters that often built the top tier frames for many other companies... The cinelli supercorsa frames being one of them :)

For my own curiosity... Can anyone explain the apparently large clearance between the front tyre and the fork crown? Is the tyre simply under-inflated? As it's 1970s I wonder if the frame could have been built for 27" wheels rather than 700c but that seems less likely for an Italian frame.

@Ndeipi, wider clearances were more common in the '70s, before everyone wanted close clearances on the road. Makes it easier to put nice fat training wheels on, for starters. Front and rear clearances look to be approaching 50mm.
