we had a little wavy IR sensor for the mirror lights (this sort of thing) concealed in the side of the cabinetry, was a neat solution. But obvs. you had to get over there to switch them on. The builder mentioned some mad option at the time that could be concealed behind the tiles (?!) with a similar wave-to-activate thing but it sounded a bit too sci fi for me.
Bathroom lighting question. We have three downlights and are adding a flos mini globe on either side of the mirror. It's a dark alcove on one side of the chimney breast.
I'm leaning towards having all the lights come on together using the existing pull cord.
Alternative could be a second cord next to the first one, maybe smart bulbs and a remote button so we have less things hanging down.
90% of the time we will need the lights on by the sink. But potentially if we are having a bath, it might be nice to have them on, but not the main lights. Not possible with one pull cord.
Thoughts? Any options I'm missing?
